What is your fitness background?
Fitness has always been a huge part of my lifestyle. After graduating college I knew I wanted to make an impact on people’s lives just like my coaches and instructors have made on mine. I got my personal training certification and started training as soon as possible. It’s one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had seeing clients strive to be the best they can be. I’m super excited to be a part of the SPENGA fam and can’t wait to start instructing all of you. I’ve been to numerous gyms and studios, but ever since my first SPENGA class I’ve been obsessed with the werkout.
What do you think is most important in a fitness philosophy?
I think incorporating cardio, strength and recovery in your fitness routine is super important. That is why I love SPENGA. You have all three components of fitness. I believe creating healthy and enjoyable habits creates a full and happy life. Your fitness journey should be fun, motivating, and sustainable!

What is your go to pre or post-workout snack?
I love a good macro bar before a workout, especially the dark chocolate & almond flavor!
We know instructors aren’t *supposed* to choose...but fess up. RIDE, REP, or REVIVE?!
Honestly, I love all three!! If I would have to choose though, it would be RIDE. I’m fairly new to spin, but every time I get on that bike I’m super motivated to outperform my sweet spot!
What is your favorite part of being a SPENGA instructor?
I love this company and the community SPENGA has! I’ve never been to a more uplifting studio with such hard working members. I can’t wait to be a part of all your fitness journeys!
What is your favorite time to take a session?
I love a good 8:30 am werkout! I like to get my werkout done in the morning, it definitely keeps me going through the day!
What do you love about SPENGA?
Everything! The werkout is amazing with all three aspects of fitness. The members and staff are all so incredible! I knew from my first session I would truly thrive here!
What impact has SPENGA had on you?
SPENGA has definitely changed my life. I started SPENGA as a member and fell in love with the werkout after my first class. The instructors were so motivating and the members were so hardworking! I am truly blessed to have this opportunity to instruct all of you. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me and I can’t wait to watch each and every one of you succeed in your journeys.
What are you reading? Binge watching?
I’ve been binge watching Virgin River... It’s so good!! I’ve also been watching all the Christmas movies, because who doesn’t love a good Christmas movie!
Favorite spot in Dayton?
Definitely the SPENGA Dayton studio, but I also love Hills and Dales MetroPark (2655 S Patterson Blvd, Kettering, OH 45409)! It’s so beautiful and hiking is one of my favorite things to do.
