We LOVE our #spengafam here at SPENGA Dayton! We are thrilled to introduce our Member of the Month, Sara! You inspire us with your effort in session, and your kindness and energy outside of it. Keep up the awesome WERK, friend! Here is a bit about Sara:
What made you want to try SPENGA in the 1st place?
I first found SPENGA when I was looking for a new way to move my body. I was feeling stressed and just overall unhappy with my health. I had passed SPENGA so many times and researched it...I thought anything that combines cardio strength and yoga is right up my alley. From the first session, I was hooked!
What is your favorite part about SPENGA?
There are so many amazing components of SPENGA, but I would say the energy in each session is contagious!!! Each instructor is incredible at keeping me motivated to push myself and believe in myself.
Ride, Rep, or Revive?!
Such a hard question!!!! REP. I love feeling strong and pushing myself with weights. Although, RIDE is definitely where I try to step outside my comfort zone and become better.
Best piece of advice for someone just starting out on their fitness journey, or for someone interested in trying SPENGA.
Have fun!!! I seriously love to have fun while pushing myself. Whether it's a whoop whoop in RIDE or a little dance party break in REP, I try to have some fun while working out. Because if you do not enjoy it, then what's the point. Also, find a community....life is too short to go it alone :)
