What is your fitness background?

I have been an athlete my entire life, I played soccer through college. I have been in the fitness world as a personal trainer for three years. I am TRX certified as well as have my spin certification through Spinning HQ. CrossFit, kickboxing, and heavy lifting are also incorporated into my fitness background, I have done it all!

 

What do you think is most important in a fitness philosophy? 

Routine fitness is the most important fitness philosophy. I believe that being present and engaged in the workout at the moment are vital in fitness. Taking the time to properly stimulate the body and mind gives an overall holistic approach to fitness, which I think is extremely important. 

 

Favorite song right now?!

Anything Billie Eilish or Halsey!

 

What is your go-to pre or post-workout snack?

Most definitely an energy drink pre-workout and a banana fudge protein shake for my post-workout snack.

What is your favorite part of being a SPENGA instructor?

The lasting friendships I have made and the supportive community I have found in this boutique fitness studio are my favorite parts about being an instructor at SPENGA Dayton!
