Here's a little on why she SPENGA's
"A year ago I would have never guessed I would still be a part of SPENGA and it would be so important to me. SPENGA has given me many things including strength, flexibility, mobility, pride in myself, confidence, motivation, etc. One major thing it has given me was an outlet for my anxiety. I have suffered with anxiety for as long as I can remember. When I am on the bike or in the strength room I am able to use my anxiety as a tool to push harder. I use the negative emotions I feel as fuel to push out positive ones for myself. To be proud of myself.
SPENGA truly is a large part of my life today. It isn't just a place I go to "workout." SPENGA Dayton is a group of people supporting one another. The instructors truly care about my well-being and even check on myself outside of the SPENGA studio. I was always against doing a fitness class but this is more than that. When something is hard or negative comes along, I push back harder. I don't give up. I think to myself "yes I can." I am able to set goals for myself and meet them instead of saying I can't. I don't give up. Every time I walk in I know I will leave feeling a little better about myself for the day.
SPENGA is a family, a tribe, a pack. I am a part of it. Thank you SPENGA for all you have given me. For helping me be my best self for not only me but my kids and husband. I will always be grateful for this place and my SPENGA Dayton tribe."
